Chickenfoot is a newly formed consortium consisting of ex-Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Mike Anthony, guitar impresario Joe Satriani, and drummer Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers. A self-titled debut album has a June 9 release date, preceded by a series of live performances in May. As you might expect given the personnel, Chickenfoot is a hard rock outfit. Their first single, "Oh Yeah" will be released May 14.
